The North East Texas Tumblers are proud to announce the new STARS Programs. STARS is a developmental program for athletes that are 4-5 years old. All of these athletes exhibit the exceptional talent and a love for gymnastics that will one day make them Champions on the North East Texas Tumblers Competition Team. STARS athletes must be enrolled in recreational classes for at least one semester and receive an invitation to join the program.

STARS is the developmental team for exceptionally gifted athletes. STARS team members will be engaged in challenging and fun exercises designed to build their strength, flexibility, stamina, & courage continuing to increase motor abilities in preparation for more difficult gymnastics skills.
Tumble Stars train for 2 hours / 2 days a week - Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 & Friday from 4:00-5:30.
The STARS curriculum is much more rigorous than what students in regular recreation classes will experience. STARS students will have regular homework activities that will also help to expedite their training. No gymnastics equipment is required for the homework and limited exercise equipment (hand/ankle weights, pull-up bar, etc.) will be needed.
STARS athletes will be constantly monitored by NETT coaches and tested once a month to track physical abilities and skill development.
